After the Men in Green qualified for the semi-finals on Sunday, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh and former England cricketer Graeme Swann endorsed the concept of a Pakistan-India final in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

Mohammad Haris’ important 31-run knock and a stunning bowling performance from Shaheen Shah Afridi helped Pakistan easily overcome Bangladesh by five wickets on Sunday.

Even though they defeated Bangladesh, the green shirts still needed either the Netherlands to defeat South Africa or Zimbabwe to defeat India in order to advance.

An all-around performance by the European team earlier at the Adelaide Oval resulted in a startling 13-run loss for the Proteas, opening the door for Pakistan.

The two former cricketers supported Pakistan and India in the World Cup grand final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground following the Men in Green’s stunning advancement to the semifinals.

At the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23, India narrowly defeated Pakistan in their opening match of the competition.
