ENG vs WI: West Indies’ batting failed for the fourth straight T20I. They stumbled when pursuing for the third straight game. With one game left on Sunday, England leads 4-0.

West Indies bowlers limited England to 131 for 8. England were expecting 160 or so around the midway mark. From 73 for 2, they lost three wickets for no runs in the 11th over, giving West Indies a foothold.

Cherry-Ann Fraser fired Sophia Dunkley, Maia Bouchier, and Heather Knight. England were 82 for 6 when offspinner Sheneta Grimmond dismissed Amy Jones. Katherine Brunt and Charlie Dean helped them reach 131 for 8. The ninth-wicket duo added 44 runs to England’s total.

Dunkley’s 35 led England, and Brunt’s unbeaten 20-ball 24 ranked eighth. Nat Sciver and Jones couldn’t capitalise on beginnings, getting out for 15 and 21, while Dean made 20 before being run out off the last ball.

West Indies lost Aaliyah Alleyne and Rashada Williams in Lauren Bell’s first over. Hayley Matthews and Shemaine Campbelle had a partnership. The two added 40 runs in 4.3 overs before Dean dismissed Campbelle.

Dean and Sophie Ecclestone took three more wickets for West Indies against spin. Bell, who started the top-order collapse, returned to finish the game with Grimmond and Schultz.

Both Bell and Dean finished the game with nine wickets, tying them for the most in the series.
