In the third-place playoff of the currently ongoing FIFA World Cup, which will take place on Saturday at the Khalifa International Stadium, Croatia will take against Morocco.

Lionel Messi‘s goal and two goals from Julian Alvarez gave Argentina a 3-0 victory over Croatia in the first semifinal match of the tournament. The Croats were eliminated from the competition as a result. During the other semifinal match, Morocco’s match versus France resulted in no goals being scored by either team.

In comparison to the World Cup final, which will feature Kylian Mbappe vs. Lionel Messi in Argentina, there is clearly a notion that the third-place play-off is really an exhibition game.
