India vs Bangladesh: India captured four Bangladesh wickets in 11.2 overs on the last morning of the Chattogram Test to take a 1-0 series lead. India’s 188-run win put them third in the World Test Championship. If they win four of their remaining five Tests, they’ll return to the final.

Bangladesh’s first innings totaled 150. Set a target of 513 in a little over two days, they showed amazing resilience and concluded on 272 for 6.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz started well on the fifth morning. Mehidy drove Mohammed Siraj through the covers in the opening over. Shakib sixed Axar Patel.

Mehidy tried again to hit Siraj on the top, but he ended up slicing a backward point instead, giving India a wicket.

Shakib began farming the strike as India closed in. He either skipped versus Axar or used the slog sweep. Against Siraj, he used pull and flat-bat shots. Shakib scored 37 runs with Taijul Islam for the eighth wicket.

Shakib’s exciting 84 was delivered by Kuldeep Yadav. After that, Axar and Kuldeep quickly ended Bangladesh’s innings.
