Pakistan-based international boxer Aamir Khan met with DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

“A Boxing Academy in Lahore is going to be made in association with Sports Board Punjab, Muhammad Tariq Qureshi has spoken to promote boxing,” international boxing star Amir Khan said.

Taking to the media He said, “An academy has been established in Islamabad, and many famous boxers have emerged.”

DG Sports Punjab said “Together with Aamir Khan, we will create a boxing academy,” he said. He recently discussed with the Chief Minister of Punjab making arrangements for the Boxing Academy.

He added, “There is a lot of boxing talent in our country; Aamir Khan’s coaching will bring the new talent.”

Boxer visited Nishtar Park Sports Complex with DG Sports on that occasion, Director Admin Syed Umair Hassan was along with them.
