PAK vs ENG: Pakistan is practically out of the ICC Test Championship 2021–23 after losing the second Test against England by 26 runs.

Despite Saud Shakeel’s sole contribution with the bat, the green caps collapsed in their match against the visitors.

After the most recent loss, Pakistan’s participation in the competition is practically over. Mathematically, Pakistan would win the tournament if they won all three of their remaining Test matches. It appears impossible, though.

The Babar Azam XI team is currently sixth in the ICC Test Championship points standings. Aside from the last Test of the series against England, which starts on December 17 in Karachi, they will play two Tests at home against New Zealand.

In March of next year, the ICC Test Championship final will take place. After defeating India in the championship match in Southampton in 2021, New Zealand is the current champion.

Pakistan has so far experienced the worst home Test season as they haven’t won a single game.

Pakistan fell 2-0 to England in a three-Test series, with one more game to be played in Karachi this weekend, after losing Test series against Australia in March of this year.

Australia won the three-match series 1-0 by defeating Pakistan by 115 runs in the final Test in Lahore. Now, England won the tests at Rawalpindi and Multan to take a 2-0 series lead.
