Skipper Babar Azam, Shan Masood, and Agha Salman are all sick with the flu during Pakistan’s first Test against New Zealand in Karachi. At the start of day three, Babar, Agha, and Shan were not on the field. At the same time, Sarfaraz Ahmed was put in charge of leading the team.
Agha had already said that he was sick at a press conference he gave after getting his first test hundred the day before.
Shan went back on the field after a while, but Mohammad Rizwan and Kamran Ghulam took the places of Babar and Agha.

Salman was the last Pakistani player to be eliminated, but not before he got his first century in the longest version of the game.On the second day of the match, when captain Azam was out in the first over without adding to his score from the night before, he stole the show.
Salman’s 155-ball score of 103 included 17 fours. He and Nauman Ali scored 54 important runs together after the seventh wicket fell. Nauman Ali played a tough inning, giving up seven runs on 75 pitches.
The visitors were in a position to get Pakistan out for less than 400 runs, but Salman added 63 runs with the last two wickets to frustrate the Kiwis.
