Second Test was moved to Karachi due to fog in Multan
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to transfer the second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand from Multan to Karachi, according to sources.
The sources said that the PCB talked to the NZ Cricket Board about the decision before making it. They didn’t say anything when the second test was moved to Karachi.
Sources said that the Pakistan team management and players have also been told that the second test will be held in a different place.
The first test took place at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi from December 26 to 30. The second test was set to take place in Multan from January 3 to 7.
New Zealand lands for a series that will go down in history.
The New Zealand cricket team arrived in Karachi on Thursday to play Pakistan in two Tests and three ODIs.
After the Test series is over, the Black Caps will play three ODIs from January 10 to 14 in Karachi.
New Zealand canceled its visit to Pakistan in September 2021 due to security fears, soon before the Black Caps’ first match in 18 years.
