Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is stipping again as the contract of Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim was terminated, BOL News reported.

As per sources, Mohammad Wasim was informed of the sacking via email and the PCB Governing Board was also dissolved.

According to the details, Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim was under fire after the defeat by England and Najam Sethi has called a meeting of the PCB Management Committee today.

In a significant step on Wednesday, Ramiz Raja was replaced as chairman of cricket’s governing body by Najam Sethi, who was confirmed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The government, which is run by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), created a 14-member committee with Sethi as its chairman to oversee PCB operations during the 120 days prior to the election term outlined in the 2014 constitution.

The cabinet agreed to substitute the 2014 law for the 2019 PCB constitution. According to reports, the management committee told all members of the governing body that, as a result of the PCB’s 2019 constitution being repealed, their jobs in the organization were terminated.
