Lahore: PCB is disappointed with the statements and words given by Rameez Raja in a Bol News interview with Usama Ghazi against Najam Sethi.

PCB said “Rameez Raja is damaging the reputation of current Chairman Najam Sethi, The goods will be returned to Ramiz Raja today”

“Rameez Raja was never prevented from entering the Gaddafi Stadium premises, PCB office will welcome them in future also. PCB reserves the right to take legal action to defend the reputation of its chairman and the institution”

“The Prime Minister of Pakistan exercised his constitutional right by restoring the PCB Constitution 2014 on popular demand, PM restores constitution to protect cricket fans and organizers, jobs, welfare and careers of former and current cricketers”

The political party that nominated him was defeated in the general elections of July 2018, Najam Sethi had voluntarily resigned despite remaining 2 years in his term. 10 days after Rameez Raja’s arrival, former captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis were ordered to resign, PCB said.

“3 changes were made in the squad before the World Cup under Ramiz. Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer has already denied the allegation of allowing Rameez Raja to collect his belongings as well”
