Umar Akmal, a middle-order batter for Pakistan, has said that the Central Punjab coach is to blame for not allowing him to play first-class cricket.

Umar Akmal said in an interview that when he has kicked off the national team, he wasn’t even allowed to play in the domestic circuit.

During the interview, Umar Akmal also asked Babar Azam to ask the Central Punjab coach or the PCB to put him on the team for the first-class games.

Umar said, “I request Babar Azam that if I am included in his plan, he should talk to the selector and the coach of Central Punjab and allow me to play first class.”

Umar Akmal has also talked about his fights with Mickey Arthur, Waqar Younis, and other people on the national team when he was a member.

The cricketer from Lahore said that he chose to keep quiet because he wasn’t respected on the team and was taken out of the game for no reason.
