AUS vs PAK:  Australia Women trounced Pakistan by 10 wickets in the second One-Day International, taking an invincible 2-0 lead in the series, thanks to an excellent batting performance by openers Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield after Darcie Brown led the bowling assault.

Pakistan, who chose to bat first, experienced a disastrous batting collapse and were eventually bowled out for just 125 runs. Brown led the Australian bowling assault with three wickets.

In response, the Australian openers easily won in 20 overs with to Litchfield’s undefeated 67 from 61 balls and Mooney’s 57 not out from 55 balls.

Pakistan, which is attempting to win in Australia in any format, was effectively stopped by the Australian team after they won the first two games of the series handily.

In order to give the Green Shirts an opportunity to build momentum before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa, the final ODI will be played on Sunday before the start of three T20 Internationals.
