Azam scored his first century while playing for Khulna Tigers against Chattogram Challengers today. He guided his team to 178-5 in 20 overs with a score of 109 off 58 balls. The right-handed batter hit eight maximums and nine boundaries en route to a stunning hundred.

Azam demonstrated his strength and continued to be worthy of the Tigers despite a subpar Lanka Premier League (LPL) season the previous year. He played for the Galle Gladiators in the LPL, scoring just 30 runs in five innings.

In the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the right-handed batter will play for Islamabad United.
