Bray Wyatt will make his comeback to WWE PPV action when he competes against LA Knight in the first-ever Pitch Black Match at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

The Eater of Worlds returned at Extreme Rules in October, but he hasn’t taken part in a single premium TV battle or live event since.

Since his final important match at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021, Wyatt has only taken part in non-televised live events throughout his second stint with the company.

And by inventing the ridiculous and enigmatic Pitch Black Match, WWE is attempting to go all out for his comeback.

There are little specifics about the match because WWE is keeping its cards close to its chest regarding what will be involved.

A report from Fightful Select claimed that the bout would have some “neon” elements. Neon was being practised by the WWE at this week’s Rumble.

It’s unclear, though, if it would mimic the red lights used for the 2019 Hell in the Cell match between Wyatt and Seth Rollins.

“It’s one-of-a-kind and has never been seen before. We’re not sure what to expect. We just know that there are no rules and that everything goes, pinfall or submission. Bray Wyatt has tried everything he can to escape this descent into darkness, but he is failing “In the beginning of the month, commentator Michael Cole noted on Friday Night SmackDown.

The Royal Rumble will take place on January 28 at The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
