Cardiff sit just above the relegation zone after Will Keane’s stoppage-time equalizer cancelled out Callum O’Dowda’s 82nd-minute opener.
Hudson appeared dejected after the game, and Cardiff later announced Dean Whitehead will succeed Hudson as interim manager.
Mark Hudson has been relieved of his responsibilities as first-team manager, according to a statement from Cardiff City Football Club.
“The board of directors would like to officially express its gratitude to Mark for all of his efforts while working with the Bluebirds as a player, coach, and manager. We send Mark our very best wishes for success in the future.”

As part of Bristol City’s 4-2 victory over Birmingham at Ashton Gate, Mark Sykes scored his first two goals for the team.
With the help of Tyler Roberts’ two goals, QPR overcame a two-goal deficit and tied Reading 2-2. Jeff Hendrick scored both goals for Reading.
