Four-Nation Cup: Anmol Hira helped Pakistan seal 1-0 win in opening game
Anmol Hira’s late goal gave Pakistan a 1-0 victory against Comoros in their inaugural match of the four-nation Cup on Wednesday in Dammam.
The Comoros defender failed to clear the ball just outside the box after Pak Saheens captain Maria Khan placed it directly in the box in anticipation of a goal kick in the 89th minute.

Anmol Hira scored Pakistan’s first goal by placing the ball to the right side of the goalkeeper after Maria lofted the ball back into the area and the opponent defence failed to clear the danger.
Earlier, a 0-0 draw was the result of the first half.
It is important to note that Pakistan women have now won two games in a row after thrashing the Maldives by a score of 6-0 in September 2022 at the SAFF Women’s Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Their final match is against Saudi Arabia on January 19, while their second game is against Mauritius on January 15.
It should be noted that the Pakistan women’s team played in an international match for the first time in eight years at the SAFF Women’s Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal, in September 2022.
Between January 11 and January 19, the four-nation cup will be played in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
