Haris Rauf of Pakistan delivered a costly session for his club Rangpur Riders against Dhaka Dominators in the 29th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 today.

In the last over of the opening innings, Usman Ghani of Afghanistan went ballistic against Haris. The right-handed batsman finished the final over for 18 runs by hammering Haris for a boundary and two back-to-back maximums.

Usman scored 73 runs while remaining unbeaten, including seven boundaries and three maximums.

Haris, who was unpitched, conceded 49 runs in his four overs. Dominators scored 144-5 in 20 overs thanks to Usman’s strong knock.

Haris has taken six wickets thus far in five games.

Early in February, right-arm pacer Haris Rauf will sign with Lahore Qalandars to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

In Lahore, Qalandars will start practising for the competition on February 4. The whole Qalandars team will take part in the training camp.

On February 13, Multan Cricket Stadium will host the inaugural match of PSL 8 between the defending champions Qalandars and Multan Sultans. For the first time in PSL history, the opening ceremony will take place in the city of saints.
