In the sixth ILT20 encounter at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, MI Emirates proved their all-around strength by crushing Sharjah Warriors by six wickets.

Imran Tahir, a former South African leg-spinner who is currently the White Belt holder and had taken three wickets against Sharjah Warriors in his most recent encounter, was introduced in the eighth over and only allowed five runs to be scored. To Tom Kohler-Cadmore, he also received the DP World Smart Delivery of the Day award.

After winning the White belt, he said, “I have said many times before, I just have a huge respect for the game,” Tahir said post their win after being handed the white belt which is given to the leading bowler in the ILT20.

“For my son and my family, I want to show it is never too late. I just respect the game and want to play in a good manner.”
