PAK vs NZ: Tom Blundell, New Zealand’s wicket-keeper batsman, was bowled by Abrar Ahmed on day two of the second Test match at National Bank Cricket Arena (NBCA).

Ish Sodhi fell victim to Naseem Shah’s first over of the day. Sodhi was bamboozled by a delivery that was pitched up and hit his off stump.

Sodhi went off the field with his overnight score of 11 runs without scoring a run on day 2, which was too early. When New Zealand were in a difficult position at 309-7, Blundell maintained his composure and added 20 runs today to record his ninth test half-century.

The fighting knock that Blundell delivered had six boundaries.

Tim Southee, the team’s skipper, had already hit 10 runs when Sarfaraz Ahmed bowled Abrar for a superb stumping.

Each of Naseem, Abrar, and Agha Salman took three wickets during the match.
