PAK vs NZ: Sharjeel Khan and Haris Sohail look like they will return to one-day international competition after being away from it for a long time.

Tomorrow, the One-Day International (ODI) squad that will represent Pakistan in their upcoming series against New Zealand will be announced here by the interim selection committee for the Pakistan men’s team, which is led by Shahid Khan Afridi.

According to the sources, the committee has already chosen a 16-member team after consulting with the skipper Babar Azam and the head coach Saqlain Mushtaq.

The final roster for the three-game series against New Zealand will consist of 16 players chosen from a pool of 24 probables.

After a considerable amount of time away from one-day international competition, it appears as though Haris Sohail and Sharjeel Khan will make their return. The match against Australia in 2017 was Sharjeel’s most recent appearance in a One-Day International. In the year 2020, Haris competed in his final One-Day International against Zimbabwe.

There is also a strong possibility that Fakhar Zaman will be part of the squad.
