Peshawar Zalmi has shown the team’s uniforms for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8).

Zalmi captain and Pakistan’s best batter Babar Azam appeared in the uniform unveiling video.

“Inspired by how modern and forward-thinking Peshawar Zalmi is as a brand, the home kit is an elegant mix of tuscany yellow and black, which goes well together. The modern design concept applied by Peshawar Zalmi is reflected in the striking simplicity of the design. According to a press release, “Peshawar Zalmi – The Yellow Storm” has a dedicated and enthusiastic fan base because of the significance of the colour yellow.

“The front of the jersey has a black mandarin collar and a uniquely woven and embedded intricate geometric pattern in shades of lemon yellow, all of which are close together to show how close Peshawar Zalmi is to its fans. The geometric coalition on the sleeves is even more striking, standing out against the black background.

“Details like a yellow placket sewn onto the sleeves add to the style of the shape. Extra fabric is sewn into the jersey’s hem, and it has a sleek, linear gold pattern. The shirt wouldn’t be complete without the official emblem of authenticity. All of Peshawar Zalmi’s loyal supporters may rest assured that they will receive only the highest quality and genuine merchandise. The Peshawar Zalmi logo is sewn into the velvet emblem, which gives it a sheen that adds to its authenticity.”

The team’s new training uniform for the upcoming season was also recently announced.

“The Peshawar Zalmi Training Kit is made up of dark values in indigo and bright chroma in crimson and tangerine. The warm colours in the kit are a tribute to the people of the city of flowers. “The jersey has a text print that goes all the way around the bottom, with a line going across the shoulders and up the sides,” the press release said.

“The Training Kit shows that Peshawar Zalmi follows the fashion trends of the year. With bright colours and big prints taking over, Peshawar Zalmi made sure that the fans’ kits stood out and made a statement.

The team also showed off a third kit for the upcoming eighth season of the league.

“Peshawar Zalmi always has something in the works, and this year, the team revealed the third kit, which is the alternate kit for PSL season 8. The press release said that the alternate jersey is a classic, timeless, and elegant mix of the darker colours black and gold. It also has a carefully chosen set of design elements.

“The alternate jersey stays true to the minimalist style, but it has the horns of a markhor, which is the national animal of Pakistan and the team’s mascot. The unique silhouette is made even better by a standing ban collar with the words “yellow storm” on it. The attention to detail gives the shape not only soul but also personality.”

From February 13 to March 19, 2023, the eighth PSL is set to take place.
