Pakistan‘s top-order batter, is ready to get hitched to Peshawar-born Nische Khan this month.

The sources claim that Shan’s wedding would take place on January 21 in Peshawar, while his valima ceremony will be held on January 27 in Karachi.

Following the New Zealand series, the 33-year-old batsman will wed.

His name was lately one of the top trends on Twitter. However, it wasn’t because of the news of his marriage, but rather because of his lacklustre play in the current Test series.

The left-handed pitcher is the son of renowned banker Mansoor Masood Khan, and his uncle Waqar Masood Khan advised the late prime leader Imran Khan on matters of revenue and finance while serving as a Minister of State in the Cabinet.

The Kuwaiti-born player has played for Pakistan in 27 Tests, 5 ODIs, and 19 T20Is during the course of his career, scoring close to 2000 runs.

He played his first Test against South Africa in 2013, but he didn’t receive an international call-up until 2019 and 2022, respectively, for ODIs and T20Is.

Masood also has a tonne of first-class cricket experience, having scored over 9000 runs in 144 games.

Last year, Masood’s older sister passed away. Her development was significantly impacted by a rare chromosomal abnormality. A lawyer is Shan’s younger brother.

Haris Rauf, a Pakistani pacer, recently married Muzna Masood Malik, a classmate.

The ceremony was also attended by fellow pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, former captain Shahid Afridi, Sameen Rana, Atif Rana, and Aqib Javed of Lahore Qalandar.

On February 3, 2023, Shaheen will also get married to Ansha Afridi, the daughter of the late Shahid Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan.
