Suryakumar Yadav‘s undefeated century helped the hosts win the series 2-1 in the third and final Twenty20 match between India and Sri Lanka on Saturday in Rajkot.

In 51 balls, Yadav, the top-ranked T20 batsman, scored 112 runs while remaining unbeaten as India, who had chosen to bat first, set Sri Lanka a target of 229 runs.

In response, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 137 as a result of Arshdeep Singh’s three wicket haul, along with two each from Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

After Sri Lanka won the second T20 match by 16 runs and India won the first T20 match by two runs, India finally triumphed on Saturday.

Three one-day international matches will be played between the nations next, with the opening match set for Tuesday in Guwahati.
