Tayyab Tahir, an uncapped local batter, will represent Pakistan in all three One-Day Internationals that will take place in Karachi against New Zealand.

Tahir, who is 29 years old, has an encouraging record in List A, having averaged 43.95 over the course of 49 matches with three hundreds and 15 fifties.

A strong 16-man squad will represent Pakistan when they take on New Zealand in a one-day international series beginning on January 9 in Karachi. The series will consist of three matches.

Due to a finger injury that he sustained while playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League, Shadab Khan is not included in the team.

This is a major omission from the group. In his place, the uncapped leg-spinner Usama Mir, who is 27 years old, has been named to the squad.

There was no room for Abrar Ahmed, who has been outstanding with the red ball ever since making a breathtaking debut against England a month ago. However, there was no room for him.

Recently added to the Test squad, Kamran Ghulam now receives a call-up to the One-Day International (ODI) team as well.
