Following a low-grade left hamstring strain diagnosis, Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal will be sidelined for at least a week, the team said on Thursday.

After sitting out the previous three games with what was reportedly a strained hamstring, Beal made his lineup comeback on Tuesday. However, he sat out the second half of a defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks despite scoring eight points in 13 minutes.

The hamstring strain was confirmed by an MRI. Beal will miss the next three games, beginning on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to the Wizards. He will then be reevaluated in a week.

Beal scores 22.9 points more than anyone else on the Wizards. Prior to Thursday’s games, Washington (17-22) had the 11th-place position in the Eastern Conference.
