Zinedine Zidane, a legendary French football player, may manage Real Madrid once more.

According to The Athletic, a source in Zidane’s inner circle claims that, along with Juventus and Marseille, a third spell at Real Madrid under the ideal circumstances appeals to the famous footballer the most.

It should be mentioned that Zidane left his position as manager of Real Madrid immediately afterwards Atletico Madrid’s victory over them for the La Liga title in 2021.

The Frenchman left after the conclusion of a disastrous season for Madrid, who also lost to Chelsea in the Champions League semifinals and went 11 seasons without winning a title.

The 1998 World Cup champion led Real to an unprecedented hat-trick of Champions League victories and the 2017 La Liga championship before resigning abruptly on May 31, 2018, citing the need for “a different voice” at the club.

After managers Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari were abruptly fired, he made a comeback in 2019.

Noel Le Graet, the French football manager, recently apologised for his “clumsy remarks” concerning Zinedine Zidane’s prospective interest in managing the France national team.

When asked if Zidane had called him to express interest in taking over as coach from Didier Deschamps, Le Graet retorted dismissively on French radio.

That attracted condemnation from France and Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, who termed Le Graet’s comments “disrespectful”.

French Sports Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera also joined in, demanding an apology from Le Graet for his statements, which she said showed “a deplorable lack of respect”.
