In a 4-0 victory over Al Wehda in the Saudi League on Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored all four goals for Al Nassr, passing the 500-goal threshold for his club career.

The 38-year-old Portuguese star has now scored 503 goals between five teams and five leagues.

In his early career, he scored three goals for Sporting Lisbon, 103 goals for Manchester United over two seasons, 311 goals for Real Madrid, and 81 goals for Juventus.

Ronaldo now has five goals for Al Nassr, the team he joined after the World Cup and his split from Manchester United.

On Thursday, he scored his 500th goal with a left-footed shot in the 21st minute.

Just before the break, he made it 2-0 with his right foot, and eight minutes into the second half, he scored his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

It was his 61st hat-trick of his career.

When he was the first to a rebound shortly after the hour mark, he added a fourth.

Last Friday, Ronaldo scored a stoppage-time penalty in a 2-2 away tie against Al Fateh to make his debut for his new team.

According to sources close to Al Nassr, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who holds the all-time records for Champions League and international goals, would receive more than 400 million euros for his unexpected move to Saudi Arabia.

According to the reports, the enormous sum includes 200 million euros for marketing Saudi Arabia’s anticipated joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Ronaldo has emerged as the face of the conservative kingdom’s initiative to boost its image through sports, which has sparked charges of “sportswashing” or an effort to whitewash its human rights record.
