The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 trophy was unveiled at a ceremony attended by the captains of all 10 nations, including Pakistan’s Bismah Maroof. Play is set to start on Friday.

Details indicate that all the captains were present for the waterfront unveiling of the glistening trophy for the major competition.

With the green shirts poised to begin their campaign against archrivals India on Sunday, right-handed batter Bismah, who represented Pakistan at the trophy unveiling ceremony, will captain the team in the forthcoming major event (February 12).

The International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a “picture perfect” image of the captains of the competing teams holding the trophy on Twitter.

It is pertinent to mention that green shirts will start training for the mega event today in Newlands.
