PSL 2023: James Vince, an English batter who will play for Karachi Kings in the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has arrived in the nation for the major competition.

As the highly anticipated PSL 8 got underway today with a match between the defending champion Lahore Qalandars and local team Multan Sultans, foreign players started to come in Pakistan in an effort to play for their respective franchises.

In the meantime, English batter Vince, who helped Gulf Giants win the first-ever ILT20 championship on Sunday, arrived at Jinnah International Airport in this city the following day and will play for Kings, the 2020 PSL champions, in the current PSL.

The most popular PSL Karachi Kings franchise published a photo of Vince’s arrival in the city on Twitter.

“The wait is finally over! “[Vince] has arrived in Karachi to join the [Kings Squad],” Kings wrote.

It is important to note that the PSL 8 opener between Sultans and Qalandars is currently playing out after a formal opening ceremony.

The Peshawar Zalmi, headed by Babar Azam, will face the Karachi Kings in their debut game on February 14 at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
