PSL 8: Multan Sultans won toss and elected to bowl first

PSL 8: The current Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings is taking place at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi. Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Tayyab Tahir, a batsman in the top order, and South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi are both debutants for Karachi Kings.

In the meantime, Sultans have replaced Kieron Pollard and Mohammad Ilyas with spinner Akeal Hosein and all-rounder Anwar Ali.

The Karachi Kings are currently ranked fifth in the points table and are in desperate need of a victory to remain in the running for the final four. They have only had one victory in their first five games.

Multan, Karachi’s rivals, are currently leading the points standings with four victories in five games.
