PSL 8: Preparations in full swing at Quetta’s Bugti Stadium
Under Najam Sethi’s direction, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is prepared to make history by organising a star-studded match in the capital of Balochistan.
At Quetta’s Bugti Stadium, preparations for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight exhibition game between Quetta Galdiatots and Peshawar Zalmi on February 5 are well on.
For live cricket entertainment, up to 16 HD cameras, including a drone, will be deployed.
The game, which will be shown on PTV Sports, will be produced by PCB in collaboration with Trans Group.
For the exhibition game, however, a unique pitch has been prepared. Additionally set for training sessions are the side nets.
In order to accommodate fans, temporary seats have also been put in the stands.
It should be mentioned that the match’s tickets were completely sold out in just two days.
Umar Akmal of the Quetta Gladiators and Usman Qadir of the Peshawar Zalmi have arrived in the city today to take part in the match.
Players from this exhibition match, including Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shahid Afridi, also attended Shaheen Afridi’s Nikah ceremony today in Karachi.
These cricketers will travel to Quetta tomorrow along with other athletes.
Tomorrow at the location, there will be a practise session for the two competing teams.
On February 5, the game will begin at 11 a.m.
