Sarfaraz Ahmed says “PSL 8 is very important, I will try to focus on my performance”
Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain of the Quetta Galdiators, declared that he will bat first in the forthcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
At a local function, Sarfaraz remarked in a media interview that he would strive to carry over his Tests form into the T20 format.
“I am confident after my recent performances,” said former Pakistan captain who scored a Test-saving century against New Zealand in Karachi.
“PSL 8 is very important. I will try to focus on my performance. I will be batting at number three or four this season for Gladiators and will try to give my best,” 2019 PSL winning captain added.
This year marks Sarfaraz’s ninth consecutive season as Gladiators’ leader.
One of the successful Pakistani captains is the wicket-keeper hitter.
On February 5, Sarfaraz will captain Quetta Gladiators against Peshawar Zalmi in an exhibition game.
The venue for this game is Quetta’s Bugti Stadium. The match will begin at 11:30 a.m., although the coin toss will take place at 11 a.m.
