Hussain Abbas Mirza, the younger brother of Pakistan’s famed presenter Zainab Abbas, has joined Multan Sultans as their strength and conditioning specialist.

Sultans published a video on Twitter in which Mirza discussed his aim to make his players strong enough to avoid injuries.

“The Sultans squad is getting ready for PSL. Our strength and conditioning specialist Hussain Abbas Mirza talks about the tests the players have gone through as they start their preparations for the season ahead!” the franchise wrote on its official Twitter account.

The Sultans’ squad has arrived in their hometown to begin preparations for the PSL 8. Sultans won their first PSL title in 2021 and reached the final in 2022, both under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan. Last year’s final saw Lahore Qalandars defeat Sultans by 42 runs.
