Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan has written a message for his team’s fans following their loss to Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 final.

Rizwan thanked Sultans fans on Twitter for their unwavering support during PSL 8.

“A huge shout-out to the fans all across Pakistan for the endless support to Multan Sultans throughout the league. Wherever we played, you were our pillar of strength. Congratulations to Lahore Qalandars for being well deserved champions,” he wrote.

Rizwan was named PSL 8’s best batter and wicket-keeper. Rizwan finished the competition with 550 runs at 142.85 strike rate, a century, and four half-centuries. He was responsible for 14 batters (13 catches and one stump).

In total, four Sultans players received individual awards. Rizwan and young Ihsanullah each received two awards, while Abbas Afridi and Kieron Pollard each received one.
