Diogo Jota has been added to Liverpool’s offensive lineup for their Champions League match against Real Madrid. The Reds are attempting to make up for their 5-2 first-leg deficit in the last 16 of the competition.

Jota joins Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and Cody Gakpo in Klopp’s forward line after the injury and illness of Jordan Henderson and Stefan Bajcetic in the midfield.

Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s captain, returns to the team after missing Saturday’s La Liga match against Espanyol due to an ankle injury.

He plays with Vinicius Junior and Fede Valverde in the attack for the 14-time champions, who beat Liverpool in the final last season, while Rodrygo has to play on the bench.

Carlo Ancelotti begins with Eduardo Camavinga at the foundation of the midfield, chose over Aurelien Tchouameni.
