Imad Wasim, the captain of the Karachi Kings, thanked their supporters for their support throughout the eighth Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.

Imad claimed they played decent cricket but things didn’t go their way in a video posted by Kings

“You were there for us the whole time, but the outcomes didn’t go our way. We played some excellent cricket. We would have made the playoffs if we had won three or four close games “He stated.

“I know all of the fans are disappointed, but so are we. We will go and make better plans to make a big comeback next year “He went on to say.

In the PSL 8 league stage, the Kings only triumphed in three of ten games played. They defeated their bitter rivals Lahore Qalandars at home to cap off a successful PSL 8 season.

Imad’s individual performance continued to be one of the event’s highlights. He played 10 games and scored 404 runs. He continues to rank as the third-highest run scorer in the current campaign. In the same number of games, he also claimed nine wickets.

He was called back to the national T20I team for a series against Afghanistan in recognition of his great all-around performance. Imad was chosen from a roster of 15 players for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan at the end of March.
