Peshawar Zalmi became the first team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to record 50 victories when they defeated Islamabad United on Thursday.

However, Karachi Kings hold the record for the most PSL losses. In the eight league seasons they have participated in, they have lost 50 of the 85 matches they have played.

Peshawar Zalmi has won 50 of their 92 matches thus far. Zalmi won 49 of the 50 matches with clear victories, including one in the super over.

The Babar Azam-drove side has a triumph pace of 54.39% in the PSL and is the main group that has arrived at the season finisher phase of each of the eight releases of the marquee occasion.

Zalmi survived to fight another day last night when he defeated United in the first Eliminator of the eighth PSL season.

In the first elimination match played at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, Zalmi had set United a target of 184 runs.

They will now battle the Lahore Qalandars to make the final. Today, the same venue will host the second Eliminator.
