Saqlain Mushtaq is a former Pakistani right-arm off-break spin bowler and cricket coach. He most recently served as the Pakistani cricket team’s head coach. The “doosra,” a leg break delivery bowled with an off break motion, is one of his most well-known inventions. He was the bowler to take 200 and 250 ODI wickets more quickly than anybody else. Saqlain Mushtaq has a son and two daughters.

He recently appeared on Nadir Ali’s podcast where he discussed his daughter’s wedding in detail. Shadab’s family sent the proposal, which occurred in a matter of days. Shadab’s mother came to us and said, “even if someone is a beggar or a king, he has to search his daughter’s match and get her married; it is also Allah’s will, and I won’t leave your house until you would say yes,” to which I replied, “You do Istikhara (seek guidance from Allah through prayers), and I will also do Istikhara. He went on to say that it had happened that way and performed the Nikah for his daughter. He added that the Nikah was celebrated on a day when Pakistan experienced a blackout. “Shadab Khan is a very decent guy, I attentively observed him, and he’s the one who offers prayers and used to gather us for prayers,” he claimed.
