In a bid to inspire and motivate the Pakistani cricket squad ahead of their upcoming Test tour of Australia, Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf, paid a visit to the training camp currently underway in Rawalpindi on November 24.

During his visit, Ashraf took the opportunity to engage with the players, holding discussions with newly appointed Test captain Shan Masood and T20I captain Shaheen Shah Afridi. The chairman praised the leadership qualities of both players and assured Afridi of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s unwavering support.

Ashraf’s presence was not limited to the players alone, as he also observed the support staff interacting with the Management Committee chairman.

He specifically commended the contributions of Shaheen Shah Afridi and star batsman Babar Azam, hailing them as sources of immense pride for Pakistan.

The chairman’s visit comes just days before the team is set to depart for Australia on November 30. The tour will kick off with a four-day practice match against the Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval, Canberra, starting on December 6, followed by a three-match Test series.
