For the Women’s Super Smash in New Zealand, Pakistani bowling all-rounder Fatima Sana has joined the Canterbury Magicians.

Sana was excited about helping the squad win the first six rounds of the competition, which begins on Tuesday with Canterbury taking against Auckland.

“Joining the Canterbury Magicians is a fantastic opportunity, and I am eager to contribute my best to the team’s success,” Sana said. “The Super Smash is known for its competitive nature, and I am looking forward to the challenges while learning from and sharing my experiences with my new team-mates.”

Sana is a great addition to Canterbury’s squad because of her international experience, which she has already demonstrated in the T20Is and ODIs against New Zealand, where she was instrumental in Pakistan’s T20I series victory. Head coach Rhys Morgan says Sana’s performance speaks for itself.

“Her international experience and record make her a valuable addition to our squad,” Morgan said. “We believe her presence will not only enhance the team’s performance but also contribute to the interest in this year’s Super Smash.”

Sana participated in the Women’s CPL in the West Indies last year as a representative of the Barbados Royals.
