During the third T20I against Ireland in Dublin, Pakistan’s white-ball captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan achieved a distinctive record.

Regarded as one of the most formidable batting duos in T20Is, Babar and Rizwan continued their exceptional performance, becoming the first pair to accumulate 3,000 runs in partnerships.

In the process, they also became the first batting pair to have ten-century stands. The pair of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul from India, with five-century partnerships, is the closest to them.

In T20Is, Babar holds the record for participating in the most century stands, with 17 to his name. This was the 13th time Rizwan was part of a century partnership.
