Ireland is expected to reveal a robust 15-member team for their forthcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, which commences on May 10.
Paul Stirling, who has an impressive record of 137 T20I matches, will captain the team, guiding Ireland through their final preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA.
This series is a crucial opportunity for Ireland to refine their skills against a strong adversary, particularly as they are in the same Group A as Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
George Dockrell, Ireland’s second most experienced T20I player, brings a combination of all-round skills to enhance the team’s balance.
The middle-order will be strengthened by the seasoned skills of players such as Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, and wicketkeeper-batsman Lorcan Tucker.
The pace attack will be led by Mark Adair and Ben White, with support from Josh Little, who has experience playing for the Multan Sultans in the PSL.
Probable T20I squad for Ireland:
Paul Stirling (c), Mark Adair, Ross Adair, Andrew Balbirnie, Curtis Campher, Gareth Delany, George Dockrell, Graham Hume, Josh Little, Barry McCarthy, Neil Rock, Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, Ben White, Craig Young
