As Pakistan is preparing to host the Champions Trophy next year, Mohsin Naqvi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), made a visit to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday to inspect the ongoing construction work.

Accompanied by the director of international cricket and the general manager of infrastructure, the PCB chairman made his visit.

The chairman emphasized the need for round-the-clock work to ensure the timely completion of this significant project.

“Only by working 24/7, this huge project can be completed on time,” Naqvi stated.

In addition, the PCB head conducted a thorough inspection of the construction site and provided crucial directives, including the installation of a drainage system.

“Due to the bursting of pipes under the main building of the stadium, quick drainage of accumulated water should be ensured,” the chairman instructed.
