The Pakistan Shaheens are set to leave for Australia via Dubai on Saturday, early morning at 2:45 AM, with plans to first touchdown in Brisbane and then proceed to Darwin.

Leading the Shaheens for the Bangladesh A series, which includes two four-day games in Australia, will be Sahibzada Farhan, who has represented Pakistan in five T20 internationals.

The squad for the tour in Australia has undergone a single alteration. Injured fast bowler Hunain Shah is out, and in his place, Qasim Akram has been called up.

Jason Gillespie, the Red Ball head coach, will be with the team in Darwin, managing the team’s activities until he heads back to Pakistan following the second four-day match against Bangladesh A in early August. Post that, Gillespie is set to coach the Pakistan national team for their two Test matches against Bangladesh.
