After a four-year union, Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic have decided to go their separate ways.

Hardik Pandya shared the news of their split on Instagram, confirming what had been speculated for some time, particularly after the end of IPL 2024.

“We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” their joint statement declared.

Pandya emphasized that they will focus on co-parenting him and their son Agastya will remain “who will continue to be at the centre” of their world.

He assured that they will both strive to provide their son with everything necessary for his well-being.

The vice-captain of India’s T20 team has appealed to his supporters for understanding and privacy “during this difficult and sensitive time”.

Hardik and Natasa were married in 2020, following a year-long relationship, and they welcomed Agastya that same year.

According to NDTV, they reaffirmed their commitment to each other in Udaipur in 2023 with both Christian and Hindu ceremonies.

Speculation about their separation increased when Natasa omitted Pandya’s surname from her Instagram handle, which did not go unnoticed by observant fans.

Additionally, Hardik was seen at Anant Ambani’s wedding celebrations alone, which added to the speculation.

Notably, Pandya played a significant role in the Indian cricket team’s victory at the T20 World Cup 2024, contributing to the win over South Africa in Barbados and earning the top spot in the ICC men’s T20I all-rounder rankings.
