Pakistan’s National Fastest Men and Women Competition Set to Begin

ISLAMABAD: The inaugural Superior National Fastest Men and Women Competition is set to take place on October 8 at Punjab Stadium in Lahore.

Brig. Wajahat Hussain (retd), President of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, announced that male and female athletes from across the country will participate in this major event.

An invitation letter has been sent to affiliated units, including various departments, provincial associations, and regional bodies.

Wajahat Hussain stated that cash prizes will be awarded to the winning male and female athletes: the 1st prize is Rs 100,000, the 2nd prize is Rs 50,000, the 3rd prize is Rs 25,000, and positions 4 to 8 will receive Rs 10,000 each.

Interested players can register for the competition until October 5. All athletes are required to report to Punjab Stadium on October 8 at 9 AM to Rafique Ahmad, President of the National Coaching Association, and Ch. Asghar Ali Gill, Head Coach of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, for registration and document verification.

This significant event will be conducted under the supervision of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan in collaboration with Superior University, Lahore.
