The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday that spectators can enjoy free entry on the first day of the upcoming third Test match between Pakistan and England.

With the series currently tied at 1-1, the decisive third match is scheduled to take place from October 24 to October 28 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The PCB shared this news via its social media accounts, stating, “FREE entry for fans to Premium Enclosures on the first day of the third #PAKvENG Test in Rawalpindi.”

In the series opener, Pakistan faced a heavy defeat, losing by an innings and 47 runs. In response, the team made significant changes, including dropping star batter Babar Azam and ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. Experienced wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed and Naseem Shah were also left out of the squad for the remainder of the series.

Kamran Ghulam made his long-awaited debut, while spinners Sajid Khan, Noman Ali, and Zahid Mahmood returned to the Test side. The changes proved beneficial, as Kamran scored a century on his debut, while Sajid and Noman collectively took 20 wickets, helping Pakistan secure its first Test victory at home since February 2021.

Pakistan: Shan Masood (c), Saud Shakeel (vc), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Haseebullah (wk), Kamran Ghulam, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha and Zahid Mehmood.
