Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will miss the upcoming Champions T20 Cup, set to be held in Rawalpindi, as they were not included in any of the provisional squads announced earlier today.

The five-team tournament, scheduled from December 7 to December 25, will overlap with Pakistan’s tour of South Africa, which runs from December 10 to 22. Due to their national commitments, Babar, Rizwan, and Shaheen will not be participating in the Champions T20 Cup.

While the national selection committee is still finalizing the squad for the South Africa tour, it is expected that Rizwan, as the white-ball captain, along with senior players Babar and Shaheen, will be included in the lineup for the tour.
