A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to visit Pakistan soon, with sources suggesting the visit could happen early next week.

However, the exact dates have not been confirmed, and there has been no official communication between the ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the trip.

The visit is seen as part of preparations for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will be hosted by Pakistan. This event will be the first major ICC tournament in the country since the 1996 World Cup, signalling Pakistan’s return as a safe destination for international cricket.

Meanwhile, discussions between the ICC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are scheduled for today.

These talks are expected to address India’s participation in the Champions Trophy, a matter complicated by ongoing political tensions between India and Pakistan. The outcome of these talks could have a significant impact on the planning and execution of the tournament.
