The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the same playing XI for the second T20I against Zimbabwe on December 3 at the Queens Sports Club.

The squad remains unchanged from the opening match of the series on December 1.

In the first T20I, Pakistan posted a solid performance, winning by 57 runs. Batting first, they scored 165/4, with key contributions from Usman Khan (39), Saim Ayub (24), and Tayyab Tahir, who remained unbeaten on 39 off 25 balls. Irfan Khan’s quick 27* off 15 deliveries provided a late boost to the total.

Zimbabwe’s chase faltered despite efforts from skipper Sikandar Raza (39) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (33). The hosts were bowled out for 108 in just 15.4 overs. Pakistan’s bowlers shone, with spinners Abrar Ahmed and Sufiyan Muqeem each taking three wickets. Haris Rauf claimed two, while Jahandad Khan chipped in with one.

This victory followed Pakistan’s 2-1 triumph in the ODI series against Zimbabwe. After losing the rain-affected first ODI via the DLS method, the Rizwan-led side bounced back to win the next two matches.

Under Rizwan’s leadership, Pakistan has displayed resilience, marking his second series win as captain. Notably, he previously led Pakistan to a historic 2-1 ODI series victory in Australia, breaking a 22-year drought.
